Job summary

WellSky in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute across backend, frontend, or full-stack areas. You will build robust features, ensure performance, and work with cross-functional teams to meet patient-care software goals.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of software development experience, a bachelor’s degree, and comfort with languages like C#/.NET, Java, Python, and modern JS frameworks. Experience with Linux, Docker, and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Experience with backend, frontend, or full-stack disciplines.
• Healthcare domain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features for WellSky solutions with focus on quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver high-impact features.
• Troubleshoot issues in development and production, tuning performance.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and documentation.
• Develop automated tests (unit, integration, performance).
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.
