Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer 2 to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting cybersecurity and identity access management initiatives.

You will work across front-end and back-end components in a fast-paced Agile environment with cross-functional teams and business partners. The role involves end-to-end SDLC participation, requirements gathering, design, and deployment, with emphasis on secure, scalable solutions and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering, application development, or related experience.
• Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern web development technologies.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Experience with software design, development, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Develop and support front-end and back-end application components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance.
