Humana Inc. is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer 2 to design, develop, test, and maintain software for cybersecurity and identity access management initiatives.

You’ll work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with engineers, leads, and business partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions. You will contribute across the full SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• Experience building both front-end and back-end applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web technologies.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Develop front-end and back-end components and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and support IAM-related initiatives.
