Hiredbuddy is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join our remote team. You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into reliable code.

The role emphasizes learning, growth, and contribution to modern tech stacks, including React, Node.js, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms like AWS. Remote work is supported with occasional NY-area meetups for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and OO design.
• Proficiency in at least one language: JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++.
• Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JS) and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
