Job summary

Contexture seeks an experienced Software Engineer to develop and modify Health Information Exchange interfaces and tools using C#, SQL, MongoDB, APIs, and Web UIs. You will support SSDLC across projects and may assist after-hours deployments or incident response.

The role requires base residency in AZ/CO with potential for local work-from-home options, reporting to the Manager, Application Development & Support. Virtual office work is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of object-oriented software development experience.
• Strong understanding of XML/JSON.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing APIs and Web Services.
• Excellent Git version control experience (GitHub) and branching strategies.
• DevOps and release management experience.
• Proficiency with MSSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Experience across all SDLC stages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to requirements using Agile methodologies.
• Mentor and train software developers on tools and practices.
• Collaborate on design and technical requirements for new products and tools.
• Evaluate new development tools and technologies for Contexture.
• Work with cross-functional teams to follow best practices for integration and tooling.
• Support SDLC activities with Operations, QA, and PMs.
• Document technical specifications and perform peer code reviews.
• Adapt to evolving priorities across projects and tasks.
