Job summary

One Call in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to design, code, test, implement, maintain and support software applications used by internal partners and external customers. You will work with business analysts, product managers and other engineers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality solutions.

This remote-first role values collaboration, adherence to SDLC standards, and the ability to translate requirements into robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and development processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development services or technical support on defined projects.
• Follow One Call SDLC standards and methodologies.
• Develop and modify program logic for new or existing applications.
• Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software.
• Ensure system improvements are deployed and integrated.
• Understand One Call systems and the workers' compensation industry.
• Participate in planning and analysis for SD projects.
• Translate requirements into product designs and specs.
• Write technical specifications and documentation.
• Suggest technical alternatives to streamline processes.
• Complete project assignments and special tasks as required.
• Plan, analyze and forecast project needs.
• May provide leadership to other technical staff.
