Keywords Studios is seeking a talented, fully remote Software Engineer based in the UK or EU to join a team of backend engineers across MPG. You will develop server backends for AAA games, mobile, and related services, working with AWS, Kubernetes, and Gen AI tools to deliver scalable systems for high concurrency.

You will collaborate with external co-dev clients and internal teams to define solutions, implement features on time, and maintain code quality with strong documentation and reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Golang, C#, C++, Kotlin in production.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP or Azure and certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write code, deploy backend services and maintain infrastructure.
• Keep the project lead and producer updated on estimates and timelines.
• Collaborate with co-devs and external clients to integrate features.
