Job summary

Vertech is seeking a Software Developer to build internal tools that empower automation engineers. You will design and deploy AI-enabled workflows and validate automation project artifacts while collaborating with the engineering team to reduce repetitive work.

Qualifications

• Experience in or alongside industrial automation (SCADA, PLCs, controls, manufacturing systems).
• Track record of building tools that are actually used by a team.
• Practical knowledge of version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Build internal software for engineers who build automation systems.
• Design and build internal tools to automate repetitive engineering work.
• Create automated testing and validation for automation project artifacts.
• Champion Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD practices.
• Identify patterns to start projects from zero and create reusable tooling.
• Write docs and training to ensure tools stick after launch.
