Job summary

Handshake is seeking experienced software engineers for remote, part-time contract work focused on evaluating AI-generated content and providing expert feedback. You will design real-world system design problems and assess feasibility, accuracy, and practicality of solutions across production-like scenarios.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of hands-on software engineering experience and degrees in CS or related fields.

Qualifications

• Industry experience: minimum 1 year direct hands-on work as a software engineer.
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field required.
• Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Create expert-level software engineering problems grounded in real system design and implementation.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and feasibility.
• Provide structured written feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Work asynchronously and remotely with no fixed schedule or minimum hour requirement.
