Nxt Level is looking for a Software Engineer, AI Agents to build and productionize agentic systems that help customers act on their data. This role demands creativity with LLM applications and strong backend and systems fundamentals.

The compensation ranges from $180,000 to $320,000 base, and includes equity. You will collaborate closely with product teams, focusing on user workflows and seamless AI experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong backend and systems fundamentals—able to architect and ship end-to-end systems.
• Ability to build for real workflows, not just demos.
• Creativity in applying LLMs to practical problems.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating quickly.
• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work on rapidly iterating proofs of concept to explore AI in data + marketing workflows.
• Make key decisions on LLM architecture, balancing speed and reliability.
• Build production “data agents” using warehouse data to answer analytics questions.
• Develop a deep understanding of user workflows for seamless AI experiences.
• Productionize LLM pipelines with strong engineering fundamentals.
