Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Software Development Manager to support a large-scale federal case management and workflow platform. The Lead Developer will provide technical leadership for application development activities while collaborating with Operations, Infrastructure, Security, QA, PMO, and Agile teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable delivery.

This role is remote with a strong preference for someone near Falls Church for weekly team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers, QA engineers, automation engineers, and technical resources across the platform.
• Coordinate development activities across internal teams and vendor resources.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, technical quality, and operational awareness across the team.
• Support resource planning, prioritization, and sprint delivery activities.
• Work with Scrum Master to support Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise web apps and workflows.
