Job summary

Cimarron is seeking Software Developers to provide simulation and modeling development in support of the Kommon Integrated Test Environment (KITE) on a human spaceflight program. This position is fully remote.

Qualifications

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible for consideration at this time.
• This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check, breath alcohol test, and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
• 5 or more years of software development experience.
• Experience with C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with software development and testing.
• Experience interpreting formal requirement specifications.
• Ability to support different shifts, including weekends, as needed.
• Ability to support occasional travel up to 25%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute flight software integrated tests based on the requirements in the Integrated Test Plan.
• Develop and troubleshoot KITE code and KITE tools to support development readiness and address identified errors in Formal Qualification Tests.
• Support Requirements Verification Closure as needed.
• Support responses to customer inquiries.
• Generate and facilitate presentation charts for Incremental Reviews, Build Closure Reviews, or mission-unique Software Release Audits.
