Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Export control: must be U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
• 9+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years in SDLC, configuration management and agile practices.
• 5+ years applying or working with DO-178 software certification guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a safety-first mindset for flight/ maintenance crews and passengers.
• Collaborate with FAA, DoD, NASA to navigate certification processes and ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement safety-focused engineering strategies for high-quality aircraft software.

• Mentor engineering staff and grow expertise in safety protocols and certification artifacts.
• Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges leveraging data-driven decisions.
• Monitor project progress to meet safety and certification milestones.
