Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Airworthiness Software Certification Engineer to guide software certification across programs and lead airworthiness activities. You will work within the Regulatory Administration and Airworthiness Division to ensure compliance with EMAR 21, DO-178 activities, and related standards.

Ideal candidates have a track record leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing budgets, and delivering on challenging deadlines, with hybrid onsite work and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, computer science or related field.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall and CI in a program management capacity.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manages airworthiness activities for active domestic or international military programs.
• Supports program audits with foreign airworthiness authorities.
• Develops certification strategies for software certification to EMAR 21, DO-178 and MIL-HDBK-516C.
• Mentors DO-178 CVEs and other disciplines for military programs.
• Leads regulatory engagement and integration to validate airworthiness requirements.
• Travel up to 25% to support multiple programs.
