Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Software Asset Management professional to lead enterprise-wide SAM within a complex DoD environment. You will shape software procurement, governance, and reporting across a large technology landscape, including on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, procurement teams, vendors, cybersecurity stakeholders, and technical teams to drive measurable efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• 15+ years IT with 8+ years in DoD/federal SAM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise SAM frameworks aligned with DoD policies.
• Advise leadership on software procurement, lifecycle management, and tech investments.
• Maintain license compliance, conduct audits, and remediation plans.
• Track deployments, entitlements, and costs across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Produce executive dashboards and reports on compliance, usage, costs, and performance.
