CapsLock is seeking a Social Media Video Editor & Designer to craft platform-first video content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will turn raw footage into dynamic videos with strong pacing, transitions, captions, sound, and motion graphics, while producing supporting static assets when needed.

The role requires collaboration with the social media team to align with brand guidelines and marketing goals, while staying ahead of trends and new editing styles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing and creative experience, focused on social media and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook with hooks, pacing, and platform-native formats.
• Turn raw footage into polished social content with cuts, captions, transitions, music, voiceovers, SFX, and motion graphics.
• Create motion graphics and supporting design assets like overlays, thumbnails, and static posts.
• Collaborate with social media team to review performance and improve creatives based on engagement and metrics.
• Stay current with trends, formats, and platform updates; maintain organized project files.
