Job summary

ACLU seeks an Undergraduate Social & Store Intern for the Communications and Marketing Department at the National office in New York City. This internship can be part-time or full-time and is fully remote.

The intern will help run the store efficiently, assist social media teams, and contribute to merchandising ideas. The role includes budget/inventory analysis in Excel, content production for multiple platforms, and research on industry trends.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student status required.
• Experience using Excel and data analysis.
• Experience using social media for professional/academic purposes.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Update online store pages, write copy, and support digital marketing.
• Brainstorm products, merchandising strategies, and campaigns.
• Product photography for social media and email.
• Collect and analyze budget, inventory, and sales data in Excel.
• Prepare social media copy and metrics reporting.
• Research industry trends to influence marketing/ecommerce and product strategy.
• Produce social media content including scripting and TikTok production.
