This is an editorial role focused on distribution: identifying the stories that matter, finding the strongest way to frame them for each platform and turning audience interest into readership for Forbes journalism.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in a digital newsroom, social editing, or related editorial role.
• Strong news judgment and excellent writing and copy-editing skills.
• Hands-on experience publishing across social platforms, especially Facebook, LinkedIn and X.
• Ability to use performance data to inform publishing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, schedule and publish platform-specific posts across Facebook, LinkedIn and X.
• Move quickly during breaking news while upholding standards for accuracy and sourcing.
• Select or create basic social assets in partnership with design teams.
• Identify trends on social platforms and communicate with editors.
• Monitor performance and platform trends to improve readership.
• Support publishing on emerging platforms such as Threads, Bluesky and WhatsApp.
• Maintain sharp news judgment and a strong newsroom mindset.
