Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field.
• 3-5 years in social media or digital marketing with strong focus.
• Proven success with social campaigns and community growth.
• Experience with social media tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Strong understanding of social advertising platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with content creativity.
• Analytical mindset to translate data into insights.
• Experience managing social for a business or brand.
• Remote-work experience in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Free State market is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing objectives.
• Manage all company social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and publishing.

• Monitor social media trends, tools and applications to improve efficiency.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, foster community growth.
• Run paid social media campaigns, optimizing for performance and ROI.
• Analyze social media data, track metrics, and generate regular reports.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams for brand consistency.
• Identify and build relationships with influencers and advocates.
• Stay up-to-date with platform changes and algorithm updates.
