Job Description

A large American video game developer and publisher based in Irvine, California is looking for an experienced Social Media Content Creator/ Motion Designer to join their Creative service team! They will develop industry-leading digital content for our social and community channels. Whether you are creating static images, videos, or interactive content, our ideal candidate must understand the visual vocabulary of different social channels and best practices for various platforms. A versatile technical skillset and a creative mind are essential. Additionally, the right candidate will have an awareness of social media trends and a basic understanding of creative performance KPIs. Strong communication skills are needed for presentations. This position is 100% remote.

Skills And Requirements

1. 5+ years of professional experience in multimedia digital content creation (video editing, social media content)
2. Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Master Suite and Photoshop
3. Experience with motion design and video editing suites (After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
4. Understanding of web technology trends and art styles of Blizzard Entertainment franchises
5. High creativity and ability to generate innovative concepts and designs
6. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, composition, contrast, and color
7. Experience creating content for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and emerging channels
8. Knowledge of technical requirements, image formats, video codecs for social media content
9. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
10. Strong collaboration skills and passion for pop culture, including video games, movies, and graphic novels
11. Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS animation
12. Knowledge of 3D software like Maya, 3Dmax, zBrush
13. Knowledge of Blizzard games and experience in the game industry
14. Active awareness of Web 2.0 trends
15. Experience with digital photography and machinima
16. Basic familiarity with game engines like Unity
17. Experience working in mobile publishing
