You will shoot, edit, publish, and engage across social platforms, primarily from the Chicago area with 80-90% remote work. The role offers flexible hours (25-30 per week) and potential extension or conversion.

The ideal candidate has mobile photography, videography, CapCut and Canva experience, plus strong copywriting and a passion for storytelling in hospitality and events.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for social media brands or agencies.
• Strong mobile photography and videography skills.
• Experience editing short-form video content.
• Proficiency with CapCut or similar editing tools.
• Proficiency with Canva for graphics and assets.
• Excellent writing and social copywriting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Capture original photo and video content across Chicago.
• Create engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn.
• Edit videos with CapCut on mobile and publish quickly.
• Develop visuals aligned with brand objectives and trends.
• Write captions and platform-specific copy; manage communities.
• Support giveaways, influencer outreach, and partnerships.
• Suggest new formats and engagement tactics.
