Job summary

The Neighborhood Hotel is seeking a hands-on Social & Content Creator to shoot, edit, and publish short form video and photography for our River North HQ and properties. You’ll manage client outreach, coordinate with teams, and help turn compelling content into bookings.

You’ll travel to properties, craft captions in the brand voice, and supervise creator partnerships. We value a self-directed communicator who can meet deadlines and grow with us from part time toward a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in social media, content creation, or sales.
• Comfortable running a shoot, meeting deadlines, and making outreach calls.
• Strong writing for captions and outreach across channels.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Canva/InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and publish short form video and photography across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other key channels
• Produce graphics to support each property's launches, events, and everyday presence
• Travel to the properties to capture and deliver content
• Own an ongoing content calendar across all channels, alongside the broader team
• Write copy that carries each property's voice - warm, specific, guest facing
• Manage creator and influencer partnerships that reflect our neighborhood roots
• Report monthly on performance against social KPIs
• Call and email prospective clients for group bookings and event space
• Help follow up on inbound leads from email, LinkedIn, and our website
• Track outreach activity and booking conversions
• Bring the same warmth and specificity to every conversation that we bring to our social content
