Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a highly skilled SOC Manager to lead 24/7 security operations and coordinate RMF/ISSO-aligned activities. The role oversees SIEM management for Oracle systems, OSINT monitoring, forensic analysis, and incident response coordination to protect critical government data.

The position requires active CISSP/GCIA or equivalent, 8+ years in security operations, and experience with SIEM platforms. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science, IT, cybersecurity or related field.
• 8 years' experience security operations.
• Active CISSP, GCIA or equivalent.
• Experience working with the DoS preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing 24/7/365 SOC operations.
• Demonstrated experience with SIEM platforms and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate SIEM processes for Oracle systems.
• Develop correlation rules for Oracle security events and monitor SIEM alerts.
• Provide SIEM data and alerts to DT/EA ISSO for incident response coordination.
• OSINT monitoring for Oracle-specific threats and weekly threat intelligence summaries.
• Analyze Oracle audit logs, AVDF reports, and PUM access logs for anomalies.
• Support ISSO-led incident response actions and containment measures.
• Perform operational security posture assessments and implement ISSO-directed improvements.
• Maintain long-term storage of security logs and audit data for audits.
