Job summary

TestPros is seeking Expert level SOC 2 Auditors to perform SOC 2 Type 2 assessments for U.S. government and commercial clients. This is a remote, project-based consultant role.

Responsibilities include testing controls, gap analyses, evidence gathering, and producing the SOC 2 Type 2 report, with remediation guidance and KPI reporting. Qualifications include 5+ years in IT security compliance and SOC 2 experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly related experience in IT security compliance, including recent experience with SOC 2.
• Cloud security, security governance and policy, risk analysis, and threat intel.
• Incident management: analysis, detection, and handling of security events.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field (or equivalent education/experience).

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate internal controls against TSC criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, privacy.
• Perform gap analyses and readiness assessments to identify control gaps.
• Gather evidence and document audit findings for SOC 2 Type 2.
• Provide remediation guidance and best practices to improve security posture.
• Produce and review KPIs for security measures and distribute reports.
