Job summary

Testpros is seeking Expert level SOC 2 Auditors with extensive IT security compliance experience. This remote, project-based role requires evaluating internal controls and conducting gap analyses. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, a strong security background, and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualifications.

The position offers a rate of $50-90/hr based on experience and qualifications, contributing to federal compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly related experience in IT security compliance, preferably with SOC 2.
• Strong understanding of security risk analysis and incident management.
• Experience with cloud computing security and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls against AICPA Trust Services Criteria.
• Conduct gap analysis and document existing control gaps.
• Compile audit results into a SOC 2 Type 2 report.
