RTX is seeking a Snowflake Data Lake Support Specialist to provide second-level support, triage escalations, and maintain data lake operations. This role focuses on SQL/PLSQL, ETL/ELT workflows with Matillion, and cross-team collaboration.

You will optimize Snowflake performance, design data models, ensure data quality, and document processes in Confluence while using Jira for tracking. This remote US-based role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL/ELT expertise.
• Hands-on with Matillion for ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiar with Jira for task tracking and Confluence for docs.
• Knowledge of Snowflake performance tuning and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level support for the Snowflake Data Lake environment.
• Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts.
• Manage and enhance ETL/ELT workflows using Matillion.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Collaborate using Jira for project planning and tracking.
• Maintain documentation in Confluence and ensure data quality.
