Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Snowflake Engineer to design and manage scalable data warehouses on Snowflake for a global client base. You will be the Snowflake expert, ensuring architectures are secure, highly available, and optimized for performance across the organization.

This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and a culture that rewards initiative. Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to deliver clean, ready-to-use data sets; implement Snowpipe, data sharing, and multi-cluster

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or software engineering.
• Proven expertise designing and managing data warehouses on Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling experience using dbt.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, data sharing, and cost optimization.
• Proficient English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouses using Snowflake and SQL.
• Develop and optimize data models and transformations using dbt.
• Configure Snowflake features including Snowpipe, data sharing, and multi-cluster warehouses.
• Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor resource usage.
• Automate data ingestion and processing workflows for real-time and batch analytics.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to provide clean, accessible data sets.
