Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse Engineer, Snowflake Developer, or similar role.
• Snowflake Certification required.
• Strong hands-on experience developing directly within Snowflake.
• Expertise creating and managing Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and objects.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with data modeling methodologies, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and fact/dimension design.
• Proven experience with Snowflake performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience working with large-scale data warehousing and analytics environments.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, and other Snowflake objects.
• Create data models to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Develop fact and dimension tables using dimensional modeling best practices.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Snowflake SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Implement performance tuning strategies, including query optimization, clustering keys, and warehouse sizing.
• Monitor and improve Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain materialized views, streams, tasks, and other Snowflake-native features.
• Partner with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to design scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across Snowflake environments.
• Support ongoing enhancements to the enterprise data warehouse and analytics ecosystem.
