Job summary

Vestmark Advisory Solutions (VAS) seeks an experienced Trader to manage retail SMA order generation and trade execution. This role supports SMA, MSP, and UMA sponsors by issuing and routing cross-client trades, maintaining accounts, and ensuring timely execution.

You will handle pre- and post-trade servicing, order management, and client communications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3+ years in SMA/UMA or wealth management, with strong analytical skills and MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
1–3+ years of SMA/UMA or wealth management experience.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to improve trading process and efficiency.
Process client model changes by generating cross-client ATB block trade orders and applying controls to mitigate risk.
Handle maintenance requests (new accounts, cash flows, terminations, tax harvests) by rebalancing accounts and routing orders for execution with controls.
Communicate client model changes to Model Only/UMA sponsors in line with ATB rotation within SLAs, with controls.
Perform Trading Services to facilitate connectivity between Vestmark and Sponsors.
Manage all aspects of trade operations including order management, execution review, and reconciliation across Vestmark and clients' platforms.
