Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Respiratory Support Specialist – Sleep & PAP Services to join our in-home care team. This role focuses on coordinating PAP equipment set-ups, educating patients, and ensuring compliant documentation to support optimal therapy outcomes.

You will collaborate with patients, physicians, referral sources, and payer partners to deliver timely services while navigating insurance requirements. A high standard of patient care and HIPAA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service, healthcare administrative, insurance verification, claims, billing, call center, or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines related to PAP therapy.
• Completion of a state-approved training program covering device distribution, safety standards, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PAP equipment set-up appointments and ensure timely delivery of services to patients.
• Provide instruction and education to patients regarding PAP equipment usage, cleaning, maintenance, and therapy expectations.
• Explain patient financial responsibility, insurance coverage, copayments, and payment options.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while responding to patient inquiries, concerns, and follow-up needs.
• Monitor PAP patient compliance and encourage therapy adherence and successful treatment outcomes.
• Maintain confidential patient communications and comply with HIPAA and company privacy standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, branch teams, intake staff, respiratory clinicians, and payers to obtain required documentation and ensure timely processing of patient orders.
• Assist in maintaining departmental reference materials and process documentation.
• Support branch operational goals and contribute to patient satisfaction initiatives.
