Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, via Optum, is seeking a Project Six Sigma Consultant to coordinate strategic initiatives and complex PMO projects. The role supports cross-business teams, defines performance metrics, and manages vendors while employing Six Sigma methodologies and analytics.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the United States; however, in Minneapolis, MN or Washington, DC areas, a four-day-per-week in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification required.
• 2+ years accounting experience.
• 2+ years project management administration and/or project management experience with tracking/reporting responsibilities for a large portfolio of projects.
• 2+ years of experience tracking, planning projects, handling large data sets and making data-driven decisions.
• Moderate to advanced MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills.
• Strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and to facilitate meetings.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
