Job summary

United Automobile Insurance Company is seeking an Insurance Fraud Investigator I (SIU) to join our team in the Orlando area. The role involves field and desk investigations into high-complexity auto claims, with a focus on staged accidents, fraud rings, and questionable medical treatment.

You will collect evidence, interview providers, insureds, and witnesses, and collaborate with NICB and law enforcement, while upholding integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred and/or 5 years of related work experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; strong analytical and interviewing abilities.
• Knowledge of CPT codes and medical terminology is highly preferred.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders; integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinic inspections and examinations under oath.
• Investigate suspected fraud patterns and gather evidence.
• Collect and interpret data from reports to identify questionable patterns.
• Maintain investigation files and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Mentor junior investigators and coordinate with NICB and law enforcement.
