Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking an experienced SIU Desk Investigator to join a growing team in Arkansas.

This field-based role conducts complex fraud investigations across Auto, Homeowners, and Specialty Lines, requiring prior investigative experience and SIU background. The role involves making highly complex claim decisions, supervising vendor relationships, and conducting thorough site inspections while protecting customers and the business from potential fraud.

Qualifications

• Prior investigative experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates with an SIU background.
• Experience identifying, investigating and resolving suspicious claims is desired.
• Field-based role supporting the Arkansas state territory; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees file quality Investigative Consultant.
• Makes claim decisions regarding highly complex investigations, and pursues restitution.
• Manages vendor relationships and oversees performance.
• Conducts highly complex online data searches, research, and evaluation.
• Investigates highly complex multi-discipline and ECL claims that may be fraudulent.
• Reviews investigations with fraud outcomes to validate denial when appropriate.
• Performs highly complex site inspections at body shops, medical clinics, loss locations, etc.
• Manages customer communications and resolves concerns or issues.
• Uses analytic tools to identify claims for investigation and evidence of fraud.
• Documents notes in the claim system detailing evaluations and decisions.
