Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Monitor Tech to provide continuous observation of patients identified as high risk, remotely monitoring via our virtual sitter platform and also assisting at the bedside. You will perform ADL support, rounds, and basic patient care tasks to maintain safety and well-being.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and prior patient care experience, with strong documentation habits and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting within Atlantic Health’s

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in Patient Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation and document patient activity.
• Monitor patients via sitter and Spotter assignments for safety and prevent self-harm/elopement.
• Make continuous rounds.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assist with bathroom/commode/incontinence care.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Perform skin care, mouth care, and bed linen changes.
