Job summary

Solventum is hiring a Site Reliability and Security Operations Engineer for the Core Speech Operations team in the United States. This role focuses on hardening and securing speech products, deploying updates, and automating security tasks while maintaining robust monitoring and alerting.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in operations or development, with proficiency in Python/Java/Go, Git workflows, and cloud technologies (AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT/engineering fields.
• 8+ years if only a HS diploma is held and in operations support or application development.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Proficient in DevOps tools and programming languages used in production environments.
• Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Hands-on with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build systems (GoCD, GitHub/GitLab).
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud and automation tooling (AWS, Ansible, Terraform).
• Monitoring/logging stacks (Grafana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Responsibilities

• Patch and secure Solventum speech products, write code when needed, and automate security processes.
• Perform operational deployments, implementations, and maintenance for production systems.
• Monitor performance metrics and perform capacity planning for Core Speech products.
• Maintain operational alerting systems and on-call rotation coverage.
• Collaborate with teammates and work independently to improve system performance and architecture.
• Align with corporate programs while upholding Solventum’s standards and ethics.
