Job summary

Merck seeks a senior clinical operations leader to manage country/cluster monitoring resources and drive CRA performance across projects. You will oversee CRA managers, collaborate with CRD and vendors, and ensure high-quality monitoring deliverables while adhering to ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in pharma, with a focus on resource management, strategic planning and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years´ experience within Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Minimum of 10 years´ experience in clinical trial organization.
• Minimum of 5 years´ experience in a functional management position.
• Advanced degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for country or cluster monitoring resource management and quality of monitoring deliverables.
• Accountable for resource and talent management of CRAs and CRA managers; conduct evaluations and recruitment support.
• Collaborates with Country TA Directors, CRD, Monitoring Excellence and Vendors to develop territory.
• Oversight and management of local vendors to ensure consistency; ensure compliance and strategic quality initiatives.
• Develop monitoring resourcing strategies with vendors and CRDs to meet demand.
• Place CRAs for greatest efficacy and work with PLMs and managers for consistency.
