Qualifications

• BS or MS in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Deep understanding of DES principles (entities, resources, queues, events).
• Proven ABS experience for decentralized, autonomous behaviors.
• SimPy: strong Python-based modeling; write custom classes/generators.
• Hands-on with AnyLogic or FlexSim; OR basics in queueing/theory.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex simulation models using SimPy, AnyLogic, or FlexSim per design/specs.
• Execute what-if analyses to test layout, staffing, logic, or equipment changes.
• Data Integration: collaborate with SMEs to clean/prepare inputs; define distributions.
• Optimization: apply OR techniques to identify global optima over local gains.
