Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a SIEM Automation Consultant to support enterprise customers in designing, implementing, and optimizing SOAR solutions within the Cortex XSIAM ecosystem. This remote role requires deep expertise in Cortex XSOAR/XSIAM, security operations, and automation development.

You will translate business requirements into scalable security workflows and advise customers throughout their security transformation journey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity consulting experience.
• Hands-on with automation playbooks and integrations within SOAR and/or SIAM.
• Strong Python development skills with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience in Security Operations (SOC) environments and incident response workflows.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Ability to communicate with technical teams and executives while managing multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SIAM/SOAR automation playbooks and workflows.
• Lead the implementation of security automation solutions with integrations to SIEM, EDR, and third-party platforms using Python, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Analyze customer security operations and translate requirements into scalable automation.
• Serve as trusted advisor on automation best practices and deployment strategies.
• Conduct troubleshooting, health checks, and ongoing optimization of integrations and workflows.
• Deliver technical workshops and training to enable customer teams to manage automation capabilities.
