Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a SIEM Automation Consultant to design, implement, and optimize SOAR and Cortex XSIAM workflows for enterprise customers. This remote role suits security professionals with deep Cortex XSOAR/XSIAM expertise, strong security operations experience, and a knack for turning complex requirements into scalable automation.

You will lead SIEM/EDR integrations using Python, REST APIs and JSON, advise customers on automation best practices, perform health checks, and deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity consulting experience.
• Hands-on experience building automation playbooks and integrations within SOAR and/or SIAM.
• Strong Python development skills with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience in Security Operations (SOC) environments and incident response.
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Ability to communicate with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SIAM/SOAR automation playbooks and workflows.
• Lead the implementation of security automation solutions, including integrations with SIEM, EDR, and third-party platforms using Python, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Analyze customer security operations processes and translate business requirements into scalable automation and orchestration solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on automation best practices, deployment strategies, and operational improvements.
• Conduct troubleshooting, health checks, and ongoing optimization of integrations, automation content, and security workflows.
• Deliver technical workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
