Job summary

CFS is seeking a Remote SharePoint & M365 Migration Consultant to lead assessment, planning, and migration of legacy SharePoint apps to Microsoft 365. This role delivers migration strategy, governance, and technical leadership for secure, scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities include assessing current SharePoint environments, developing migration standards, designing and implementing migration workflows, and creating automation with PowerShell and Power Apps.

Qualifications

• Assess existing SharePoint applications, workflows, forms, and integrations to determine migration readiness and approach.
• Develop migration strategies, standards, and best practices for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Design, build, and implement migration and modernization solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate where appropriate.
• Create automation, scripts, and repeatable migration processes using tools such as PowerShell and approved migration platforms.
• Establish testing, validation, quality assurance, and deployment procedures for migrated applications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders, project teams, and IT leadership throughout migration initiatives.
• Document migration designs, standards, processes, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and streamline future migrations.
