Job summary

Providence is seeking a Service Engineer II IS for a remote role. You will collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, and improve large-scale services for IS and clinical caregivers.

You will troubleshoot issues, own incidents, participate in disaster recovery drills, and collect metrics to drive a cost-effective, reliable platform. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with automation and n-tier solutions are required; healthcare experience and Azure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years related experience.
Experience in automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
Experience with n-tier solutions.
Experience with resilience modeling and ability to simulate service outages.

Responsibilities

Understands caregiver, business, and technical requirements to contribute to a service architecture meeting KPIs.
Analyzes current service delivery to identify improvements for cost-effective operation.
Troubleshoots and engineers solutions to restore service with minimal disruption.
Participates in disaster recovery drills and incident response during non-working hours.
Collects metrics to support service intelligence and capacity planning.
