Job summary

Providence is seeking a Service Engineer II IS- Network Services in Redmond, Washington to design, operate, and improve large-scale, computer-based services for IS and clinical caregivers. You will collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers early in the development process to ensure reliability and scalability.

The role emphasizes automation, deployment resilience, and multi-tier architectures, with opportunities to influence service outages simulations and recovery procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience.
• 2 years Related experience; 2-5 years preferred.
• Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Experience with n-tier solutions.
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
