Brafton is seeking an SEO strategist to join our Consulting Department in a remote Canada-wide role. The ideal candidate brings agency experience, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and a passion for the evolving search landscape.

You will work with internal teams and clients, translating technical concepts into clear strategies. Responsibilities include audits, reports, and using tools like MarketMuse, SEMRush and Ahrefs to optimize sites, improve rankings, and drive measurable

Competenze

• 3-5 years or more of SEO program experience, agency preferred.
• Proven success with SEO campaigns for medium to large brands, incl. ecommerce.
• Strong cross-channel marketing understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced technical SEO knowledge (crawl, index, rendering, core web vitals, site migrations, page speed).
• Strong project management and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console; Tag Manager a plus.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, Google Discover, E-A-T, Rich Results.
• HTML, Javascript, CSS basics and how they impact search performance.
• Experience with standard/enterprise SEO tools (SEMrush, Sistrix, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, GTmetrix).
• Ability to meet deadlines; comfortable with spreadsheets and presenting reports in PowerPoint/Slides.
