Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to own the search strategy for B2B and growing-brand clients. You’ll determine technical roadmaps, content priorities, and the ranking narrative. You’ll serve as the strategic voice in client discussions and drive outcomes.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword workflows, and AI-assisted content coordination while coordinating with writers and the client teams. This is a remote full-time role serving US, Canada, and South Africa clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO experience.
• Fluency with GA4, Search Console and crawl tools.
• Experience managing multiple clients in an agency setting.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO aspects: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization, content priorities with writers/AI.
• Improve visibility on Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and traditional results.
• Develop links, local SEO, and multi-location strategies as needed.
• Provide quarterly client roadmaps and reporting in GA4 & Search Console.
