Job summary

Silverback Strategies is a remote, performance‑minded agency seeking an SEO Manager to lead 4–6 client accounts and push the boundaries of AI-driven search testing. You will analyze performance metrics, build scalable content architectures, and partner with measurement, paid media, and creative teams to drive client success.

You’ll manage client relationships directly, translate complex SEO strategies for diverse stakeholders, and continuously refine tactics to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Agency background with proven SEO results.
• 2+ years agency experience; 3+ years marketing/SEO; 5+ years preferred.
• Comfort talking directly to clients and presenting results.
• Hands-on AI search testing and optimization experience.
• Ability to tie SEO wins to client business impact.
• Content strategy experience and ability to brief production teams.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
• Get things done with a proactive, adaptable work style.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute SEO strategy, innovation, and performance across multiple client accounts.
• Apply AI/LLM testing to optimize search strategies and outcomes.
• Analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights for clients.
• Lead client calls, present results, and communicate complex SEO in clear terms.
• Manage client relationships as a trusted advisor and extension of their team.
• Create time-bound roadmaps and scale content systems and internal linking.
