Qualifications

• RYT-200 certification or equivalent required.
• 2+ years teaching experience, including work with older adults.
• Experience with chair yoga, gentle yoga, or adaptive practice.
• Comfort teaching to camera with clear verbal cueing.
• Reliable high-speed internet and quiet, well-lit teaching space; comfort with Zoom.
• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead live virtual yoga classes for older adults on a recurring weekly schedule.
• Teach gentle, chair, and modified standing practices with clear verbal cueing.
• Offer accessible variations in real time for a range of mobility levels.
• Create a warm, encouraging class environment that keeps members coming back.
• Open the virtual classroom on time and greet students as they arrive.
• Coordinate with the wellness team on class themes and the monthly schedule.
