Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to independently manage complex Pennsylvania workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution. This role is fully remote, with Delaware and New Jersey experience valued.

Candidates must have direct PA claims experience and strong knowledge of PA laws and regulations. Requirements include 5+ years handling PA claims, ability to manage multiple complex claims remotely, and proficiency with claims management systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling Pennsylvania workers’ compensation claims.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
• Experience managing complex indemnity claims and settlements.
• Experience handling litigated claims preferred.
• Delaware or New Jersey claims experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of PA workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution.
• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and develop handling strategies.
• Review medical documentation, coverage, and claim exposure per PA regulations.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves based on claim developments.
• Manage complex indemnity and litigated claims, including settlements.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, medical providers, employers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor claim activity, diaries, and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate return-to-work efforts and cost containment opportunities.
• Maintain complete documentation in the claims system.
