Job summary
An insurance service provider is seeking a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of claims from inception to resolution. The role is full-time and offers remote flexibility with some travel. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, managing reserves, authorizing medical care, and ensuring quality customer service. Candidates should have California Workers’ Compensation experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Qualifications
1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WCCA or WCCP designation preferred.
Self-Insured License preferred.
Multiple years’ experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims, including indemnity and legal claims.
Responsibilities
Conduct and direct investigations to determine AOE/COE.
Establish initial reserves and maintain accurate reserves on all claims.
Authorize medical care and manage all legal aspects of claims.
Provide quality customer service to clients, producers, employers, and injured workers.
Determine settlement values and move cases towards closure.
Skills
California Workers’ Compensation experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Education
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
