Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC is seeking an experienced sales consultant to drive wealth management product growth across the Pacific West. You will partner with advisors, field leaders and internal teams to expand awareness, adoption and sales of wealth management solutions.

You will influence outcomes through consultative selling, relationship management and market insights while representing the organization at client, advisor and broker-dealer events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services sales with wealth management product knowledge.
• Experience in consultative sales with proven ability to influence outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Series 7 license required upon hire.
• Active state securities registration (S63/S66) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Active IAR registration (S65/S66) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Preferred CFP/ChFC/CRPC/CEBS/RICP or similar credentials.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with CRM and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory sales by building advisor relationships through meetings, events and programs.
• Apply a consultative sales approach to influence product selection and opportunities.
• Partner with sales consultants, field leadership, marketing and others to execute territory plans.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes and adapt strategy accordingly.
• Travel within the territory to engage advisors and represent Ameriprise at events.
• Leverage CRM, analytics and proprietary systems to identify opportunities and prepare meetings.
• Manage territory operations, scheduling, budgets and recognition activities.
