Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Vice President of High Voltage to lead our HV construction unit with full P&L accountability for substations, switchyards, and transmission scope across utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will drive HV strategy, estimating, preconstruction, and execution while partnering with other business units and shared services.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in high voltage/substation/transmission construction.
Demonstrated P&L or senior operational leadership over a construction unit or large portfolio.
Deep technical command of substation, switchyard, and transmission line construction; protection & control.
Proven track record delivering complex HV projects safely, on schedule, and on budget.
Strong utility, ISO/RTO, and AHJ relationship management experience.
Self-perform HV construction leadership and relevant credentials.

Responsibilities

Own the full P&L for the High Voltage unit and sign off on HV proposals.
Direct HV execution across a multi-project portfolio to meet schedule and budget.
Lead HV safety culture and ensure QA/QC programs meet NERC/AHJ requirements.
Manage interconnection coordination, energization milestones, and protection scope.
Build and scale the HV organization with bench depth and standardized SOPs.
Coordinate HV scope with BESS and Transmission units; support M&A integration.
